Does everyone in my server need a subscription?

No. One subscription covers the whole server. Run /setup-server once, then anyone can record with /join.

Can everyone tell it is recording?

Yes. NotesBot joins as a visible member and posts a message when recording starts by default. Anyone can be excluded with /ignore.

What happens to my audio?

Audio is transcribed and then deleted from the bot by default. Recordings you keep can be deleted permanently from your dashboard.
